How Albumagic works

Six steps from the photos on your phone to a film you can show at the party. All of it happens in the app, and most of it takes a few minutes.

  1. Pick the occasion and the mood

    Nine occasions, from birthdays and weddings to graduations and special occasions. The occasion suggests a mood, and you can change it: Celebrate (upbeat and quick), Fun (playful and bouncy), Heartfelt (warm piano, slower moments) or Elegant (strings, graceful). A video in memory of someone is always gentle.

  2. Agree to how it’s made

    Before you choose photos, you confirm you have the right to use them, and that the people in them (or their parents, for children) agree. You also agree that AI services make and check the video. We say it plainly, once, before anything is sent.

  3. Add your photos

    Add up to 150. We pick the best for the length you choose, up to 80, leave out blurry shots and near-duplicates, and put them in the order they were taken. Prefer your own order? Tick “I’ll choose and arrange them myself”.

    Any photo on your phone works, screenshots too. We make them smaller on your phone before sending, take out their hidden details such as where they were taken, and mark any that are too small for a TV so you can swap them.

  4. Titles, screen and opening

    Write the opening title, a line under it and closing words, in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Hebrew or Arabic. Choose TV (landscape, for a party screen) or Phone (portrait, for WhatsApp and Stories).

    Then the opening, made by AI for your video alone: Photo album, Curtain rise, Starry sky, Gift box, Vintage projector or Sunrise. It’s included in every video.

  5. Pay once, then we make it

    You pay through Apple or Google, by the size of the video. Then AI makes each moment between your photos, writes the music and checks everything. Most videos are ready in about 30 minutes; the longest can take up to an hour and a half. You can close the app: your video waits for you in My videos.

  6. Watch, save and share

    Save it to your phone, send the file through WhatsApp, Messages, AirDrop or email, or share a link the whole family can watch until the video is deleted. Want something different? For 30 days you can have up to 5 moments made again, new music or new titles, in up to 3 rounds, free.

What AI does, and what it doesn’t

What AI does

  • Makes the movement between your photos, with AI video models through fal.ai.
  • Makes your opening scene and writes the music.
  • Checks every moment against its two photos and watches the finished video before you see it (Claude, by Anthropic). A moment that changes a face or adds something odd is made again; a photo that can’t be animated well is left out, and we tell you which.

What doesn’t happen

  • No person looks at your photos or edits your video.
  • We never use your photos to train AI. The AI services work for us under contract.
  • Nothing pretends to be real footage: every video file is marked as made with AI.

From order to deletion

  4. 90 daysThe video is deleted, with its link. Save it to your phone before then.
